Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 8, 2025

At Tusafiri Savannah, we strive to provide our clients with exceptional travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and this Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for tour bookings and services.

By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Booking Confirmation and Deposit

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after a deposit of 40% of the total trip cost has been received.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the trip start date.
  • If full payment is not received by the deadline, the booking may be cancelled and cancellation fees will apply (see Section 2).

2. Client-Initiated Cancellations & Refunds

To request a cancellation, you must notify us in writing via email at customercare@tusafirisavannah.com. Refunds are processed based on the number of days prior to your scheduled departure:

More than 60 days 10% administrative fee 90% refund
31 – 60 days 25% of total trip cost 75% refund
15 – 30 days 50% of total trip cost 50% refund
7 – 14 days 75% of total trip cost 25% refund
Less than 7 days 100% of total trip cost No refund

Important:
Some tours include services from third-party providers (e.g., flights, exclusive lodges, or event packages) that may be subject to non-refundable or stricter terms. These will be communicated during booking.


3. Company-Initiated Cancellations

Tusafiri Savannah reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:

  • Safety concerns
  • Natural disasters or extreme weather
  • Insufficient bookings
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party service failure

If we cancel:

  • You may receive a full refund, or
  • Reschedule your trip, or
  • Accept a travel credit for future use

Note: We are not responsible for incidental expenses such as visa fees, insurance, vaccinations, or flights not booked through Tusafiri Savannah.


4. Refund Processing Time

Refunds will be issued within 14 working days after written confirmation of cancellation.
All refunds will be processed through the original payment method used, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


5. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Fees for travel insurance
  • Visa processing costs
  • Medical or vaccination expenses
  • Personal purchases and gratuities
  • Bank or transaction fees
